Welcome

Hi there!

I am Wycliffe Omondi. If you are here, you are either curious to see what SaQle is all about. Or you have heard of me in some corridors and want to know what I have been up to.

Either way, you are welcome to try out this framework. It is important that you provide me some feedback when you do.

Now, this documentation is not complete, so cut me some slack. I am constantly writing the code for SaQle framework and updating this documentation all by myself.

If there is information you need, or have feedback to provide, reach out to me on mail or LinkedIn.

Why SaQle

I come from an intense background of building customer facing applications, where half baked change requests come so often that before you finish a feature you are throwing it away to start another.

Having worked with c# Entity Framework, Python's Django and FastApi, PhP's Laravel and Cake, I wanted to build a custom framework, one that supports super rapid protoyping, provides a simpler setup approach, avoids all the bloat that comes with Laravel and still provides a solid foundation for complex and secure applications.

And of course, being a painfully curious person, I like to know how things work underneath. I am the kid that broke his dad's TV to see the people inside. So, this is a fun personal project that, I am hoping you will find as useful as I have.

Would you like to contribute?

If contributing to open source excites you, or you just want to learn, reach out using the email address above and let's talk.

Also, I can always do with a cup of coffee you know!
